Rosemary Young

Australian Synchrotron

Rosemary completed her PhD in chemistry in a joint program between the Universities of Adelaide and Nottingham (UK), studying the reactions of metals in metal-organic frameworks. She then moved to Monash University, working on the catalytic and sensing properties of lanthanide coordination cages before joining ANSTO Australian Synchrotron as a beamline scientist on the MX1 and MX2 beamlines. Her research focuses on photocrystallography and other types of dynamic crystallography and in developing the tools and techniques to perform these experiments on MX beamlines.
